Sodium hydroxide, chemical formula for NaOH, commonly known as caustic soda, caustic soda, caustic soda, is a strong caustic alkali, generally in the form of flake or particle, soluble in water (heat when dissolved in water) and the formation of alkaline solution, and deliquescence, easy to absorb water vapor in the air (deliquescence) and carbon dioxide (metamorphism).

Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) is extremely versatile. Used in paper making, soap, dye, rayon, aluminum, petroleum refining, cotton finishing, coal tar product purification, as well as food processing, wood processing and machinery industry.

Hydrofluoric acid is prepared by heating potassium hydrofluoride to 500℃for thermal decomposition or by heating fluorite (calcium fluoride CaF2) and concentrated sulfuric acid to 700℃.

For railway transportation, steel drum packages can be transported in open cars. The packing should be complete and the loading should be safe. During transportation, ensure that containers do not leak, collapse, fall, damage, moisture and rain. If it is found that the packaging container corrosion, rupture, hole, melting and dripping phenomenon, should be replaced immediately packaging or early delivery for use, container damage can be repaired by tin welding. It is strictly prohibited to mix and transport with inflammable or combustible materials, acids and edible chemicals. Transport vehicles should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment.
