5. Fluoride of tap water
In order to prevent caries, fluoride concentration in community water supply should be adjusted to an appropriate concentration in low fluoride area, which means fluoride in tap water. In the implementation process, the water plant should have a strict management and detection system, to ensure that the concentration of fluoride in drinking water reaches and maintains in the predetermined standard range, adding fluoride such as H2SiF6, Na2SiF6 and NaF. If it's fluosilicate and sodium fluoride, add with liquid, if it's sodium fluosilicate, add with solid. According to the fluoride level of local raw water, climate and water supply, water samples were taken every day for routine monitoring and recording.
Fluorosilicic acid is a coordination acid with strong acidity and PH of 1.6 at 0.03mol/L concentration (not considering decomposition, acidity is similar to nitric acid). If stored in a plastic container, it is stable in dilute solution at room temperature. The complex ion fluorosilicic acid (SiF62-) is very stable. Fluosilicic acid can release hydrogen ions well, and its salts have special solubility, potassium salt and barium salt are insoluble, rubidium salt is slightly soluble, sodium salt, lithium salt and ammonium salt are soluble, cesium salt, ferric salt is easily soluble. [1] Decomposition by heat releases toxic fluoride gas. It is highly corrosive.
Operation precautions: airtight operation, pay attention to ventilation. The operation is mechanized and automated as far as possible. Operators must be specially trained and strictly abide by the operating procedures. It is recommended that operators wear self-priming filter gas mask (full cover), rubber acid and alkali resistant suit and rubber acid and alkali resistant gloves. Keep away from flammable and combustible materials. Prevent steam leakage into the workplace air. Avoid contact with alkali. Handling should be carried lightly to prevent damage to packaging and containers. Equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment. Empty containers may contain hazardous materials.
Storage precautions: Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat source. The storage temperature should not exceed 30℃. Keep container sealed. It should be stored separately with combustible materials and alkali, and must not be mixed. The storage area shall be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and suitable storage materials.
