3. Product features and uses

The steam and air form explosive mixture, in the case of open fire, high heat caused combustion explosion, explosion limit 3.4~14.5 (volume) by high heat decomposition toxic corrosive gases.

Pure and dry 1, 2-dichloropropane has no corrosion to metal, but releases highly corrosive hydrogen chloride in the presence of water. Light can accelerate the decomposition reaction. The mixture of 3-propene chloride and 1-propene chloride is produced by heating to 540~750℃. Under pressure, 2-propene chloride was generated by heating in aqueous solution of alkali to above 96℃. The mixture of 2-propene chloride and 1-propene chloride is produced by heating the alcohol solution with base to 60-75℃. An ester of 1, 2-propanediol that reacts with a lower fatty acid salt. 1, 2-diaminopropane hydrochloride was obtained by heating it with concentrated ammonia to 80℃.

Store sealed. Warehouse ventilation low temperature drying; Separate from oxidants and acids. Can be stored in iron, mild steel or aluminum containers.
